Aria Kian At a Glance

In 2003 due to the critical circumstances and absolute necessity for capacity increases and disability to obtain Peugeot 405 cradle due to lack of production in PSA France, Iran Khodro in an evolutionary action decided to setup a high quality production line matching PSA standards for the 405 cradle in Iran and in the shortest time possible.

As Iran Khodro needed dynamic executive managers from the privet sector, the present managers of Aria Kian were chosen due to their reputation in experience of executing critical industrial projects in the shortest time.

These managers in mid 2003 established Aria Kian and with persistent effort completed there studies and purchased the robotic and other machines from Italy, Germany and France while at the same time they built 25’000 sq meters of industrial buildings and supporting facilities needed to execute the project in 100’000 sq meters of industrial land in Abyek Ghasvin, taking into consideration all aspect of possibilities of expantion.

Aria Kian is producing cradle for Peugeot 206 using 7 ABB Robots and inserting 40 spot welding and 775 mm MAG welding onto 16 separated parts in cycle time of 120 sec. This line like the line for Peugeot 405 is equipped with precise control systems: PLc, distributed I/0 , sensors and applications.

Assembly of Complexes

Aria Kian dependant on their experience & know-how and expertise was able to outsource for the first time for Iran Khodro the completed cradle complex assembly , by assemming Liu joining parts onto the cradle . the assembly process is done in a 35 second cycle time on a20,meter conveyer

Paint line

Aria Kian is equipped with fully automatic electrophoreses line with the capacity of 1.5 million cradles per year. Aria Kian is able to provide coating services to any other company who needs and durablenot penetrable coating for their products. All the above-mentioned steps are precisely and fully controlled automatically by PLC S7-300, Profibous network and sensors.

Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Despite advanced and error free production line, Aria Kian considering sensitivity of cradle on car’s safety has equipped the laboratories for retaining the highest standard (Class A) as below:

a) 3D CMM Test 3D CMM machine made in Italy, 3D scans surface of cradle with accuracy of L/250+2.6 um,speed of 31m/min and acceleration of 1.7 m/s2, determines any PPM against ideal product, and gains the lowest PPM and Highest quality. This test is performed every other 24 produced items. Operation of this unit is confirmed by PSA and it is able to be used for testing the other parts.

b) Fatigue"Kest in this unit. the produced cradle is tested by 1.000 for stability and resistance of part on display by the

Aria kian presently has obtained technology and quality award and Sapco Quality certificate and aims to obtain very soon grade A from Sapco according to the Sapco 86 new quality management check list and strives in line with organizational elevation towards PQM. Present Quality certificates: ISO 9001/2000 ISO /TS 16949:2002

R&D Dep.

Aria kian by the Research and Development Experts and establishing communication with companies, research centers, universities and domestic and foreign scientific – industrial associations and resources has tried to promote quality and develop more diversity of products, and on the other hand to obtain new knowledge for operating intra-organizational and extra-organizational projects. It should be mentioned that this company is also member in R&D Society of Iranian Industries and Mines.

Logistics and procurement system

Aria Kian has 45 sub-suppliers who are entered into a comban system now delivering components and parts to Aria Kian in less than 16 hours from ordering. Aria Kian is presently working on implementing a JUST IN TIME system of supply procurement to eliminate any storage thus lowering costs & rising efficiency. For transportation purposes Aria Kian uses one it’s subsidiaries KIAN BAR transportation company.

Aria Kian maintains the production line with supervision of trained specialists in technical unit in and out of the territory with using PM codified programs for offering the best quality of products.

Furthermore the specialists of this unit are able to present Design, Execution and Maintenance services of industrial automation projects especially Robotic advanced lines.
